About Veteran’s Recall
Welcome to Veteran’s Recall – a blog dedicated to the belief that the American way of life is exceptional in the world.
My name is Sam Frescoe. I am a full-time “workaholic,” an armed forces veteran, and a devoted family man. My profession is engineering. I specialize in transforming the impossible, complex and hard to do, into the possible, simple and easy to use. As a veteran, my mission was to respond, fight and win. I am a veteran of two branches, an enlistment, a commission, multiple wartime deployments, and a unit command. My wife and I are raising a family, and highly motivated in our quest to raise the next generation of Americans. I couldn’t be more grateful or proud.
To Support and Defend Never Expires
I began my military service to support and defend the Constitution of the United States in the 1990’s.  On 11 September 2001, that oath took on new meaning. It was time to support the Constitution by defending the nation. I participated in that defense through multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Europe, and points between.
In 2008 a change swept America. The People embraced hope in a different way, and the nature of America began to change. With little resistance, the People divided with some watching and others wondering why no one was rising up. In 2010, that oath took on new meaning once again. It was time to support the Constitution by defending the principles, ideals, and traditions of the nation.
Why Veteran’s Recall
I started this blog to propel an American veteran’s voice beyond my dining room table and into the public discourse. Why do I blog? Why do I bother?
I bother to blog because I believe it’s time to sound off with authority, an authority based on honor, grit and American pride.  I believe it’s time to dress the statist-collectivist-opportunist wound in the side of our American representative republic. I bother to blog because I can’t rest easy assuming my civic duties are in “good hands” because of a wink and nod. I believe it’s time to enter the fight and challenge the status quo of public discourse.
I bother to blog to challenge the status quo by advocating for abolition. I aim to show the leaders and participants of the public discourse that the governed can right themselves over the government, that dishonorable conduct is absolutely unacceptable, and that the glory of an American future is based on the wisdom of the American past.
I just happen to be an American veteran. I invite you to come follow me.
