American Strength – American Values

Stand-Up

American Strength – American Values

I believe honorable conduct could not find a better home than right here in America. What could be more honorable than to support and defend a representative republic that values the primacy of the individual over the collective? As for me, my list is short.
On my honor I will seek what is right, do what is right, and stand for those who do right. – The American Honor Code
America was founded to be a free nation, not a safe nation. It was founded to be a nation of esteemed people, neither politically correct nor rude. America was founded as a certainty not an experiment. It was founded to demonstrate the strength of self-governing people irrespective of their origin. America’s original driving ideal was to uphold the principle that the individual is superior to the collective.
This American nation was intended to fully embrace the divine gifts, American values, prescribed to all mankind for current and future generations. As described in the preamble of the Constitution, American freedom has eternal and moral meaning and value. So, what are those eternal American values? If there could be an all-inclusive list, then let the following statements be that list.
America values unity, not uniformity.
America values justice for all, not “just us” for some.
America values stewardship, not neglect.
America values charity, not welfare.
America values liberty, not captivity.
America values equal opportunity, not equal outcome.
America values self-reliance, not public-dependence.
America values answering our enemies without moral ambiguity.
America values doing what is good, not doing what feels good.
America values “We the People,” not “They the Government.”
Finally, America values the American Way.
I am calling all veterans to take a knee and listen up.  If I could be so bold, then I would charge each of you to personally embody the belief that the American way, defined by faith, honor, and personal responsibility, is the best way without exception. Furthermore, I would charge each of you to zealously uphold American values, steadfastly answer all challengers, and never surrender the individual to the collective.
America needs her veteran warriors to take charge and courageously lead from the front. Let’s get it done!
